I'm now barely into my second trimester! Today was the first day I thought to myself "I am looking very pregnant!" I'm starting to feel a lot better and a little more energetic. My jeans are starting to get snug on me, and all I want to wear is sweat pants and a baggy shirt and eat ice cream. Poor Hadley probably feels like he is living with a homeless person most nights. We have recently been looking at cribs and strollers, because we want to buy things along the way so it's not a huge bill in the end. It's a good thing I don't know the gender yet, or I would have probably drained my bank account to the last penny, just buying clothes and any gender related thing I come across.
The other day at work this second grader asked if I had my baby yet. It's so funny to see how little kids react to pregnancy. They have the most wide range of imagination, that what they think about pregnancy, is what they know about it. Another little boy told me that I'm having an angry bird, not an actual baby (possible?). I love all of the funny things I have heard from them about being pregnant and the baby in my belly. But I know one day I will get the comments from people that I don't really find amusing and funny (thanks to sisters and friends, I'm preparing for these comments)!
We finally played in the snow! I have been wanting to go sledding or build a snowman this winter, but A- there has been no snow and B- I hate snow... My sister-in-law and I bought some groupons for Soldier Hollow tubing hill in Midway. After two months of having them we finally decided to go out and use them. Although the it the snow was kind of slushy and we couldn't make it down the hill due to this crappy snow, it was still a lot of fun to spend time with Had's brother, his wife, and kids!!! And on top of that, afterwords we went to the Train Station to get dinner after! (If you have never eaten their, you are missing out!)
